I can't say enough good things about Skeletunes! Great customer service is as important to these guys as a killer vinyl selection. It's pretty rare that I don't go to Skeletunes first for my vinyl needs. Branching out into putting out there out bands on vinyl is a cool turn too. Thank you and appreciate ya!

Hey, Gary! We followed up via text. Both albums were shipped on 8/19, and tracking numbers for each were sent via e-mail. It looks like USPS was delayed with the Noi!se album there for a bit, but it's moving again.

I have now reviewed Skeletunes Records for a second time, which was entirely necessary because apparently the first review did not adequately communicate the severity of the situation.
The place is still absurdly good.
Not "Oh, that's a nice little record store."
Not "I found a couple things."
No. This is more like wandering into a warehouse where someone has taken every punk, metal, hardcore, alternative, weird, obscure, hard-to-find, "WHY DO THEY HAVE THIS?!" record and arranged them with the kind of care normally reserved for defusing unexploded naval mines.
Their catalog is enormous, covering thousands of titles across punk, metal/hardcore, rock/alternative, and other genres. The stated mission is to get hard-to-find and essential records into the hands of people who actually care about them, and somehow these maniacs appear to have taken that mission seriously.
Skeletunes is apparently run by two actual humans, John and David, which raises serious questions. Two guys? TWO? For a store with this much inventory?
I have seen larger workforces operating a single Taco Bell at 2:00 a.m.
And yet here they are, operating an online store plus a physical location in Hixson, Tennessee, shipping records around the country, expanding into Canada, and apparently behaving as though customer service is still a thing that should exist. Absolutely irresponsible levels of competence.
The selection is ridiculous. Punk? Yes. Metal? Obviously. Hardcore? Naturally. Alternative? Of course. Weird stuff you forgot existed until it suddenly appeared in front of you at 1:17 in the morning and caused you to shout, "OH HELL YES"? Also yes.
At this point, browsing Skeletunes Records feels less like shopping and more like archaeological excavation.
"Look! A Descendents record!"
"Yes, Professor. And beneath it, an AFI release previously believed extinct."
"Careful, Martin. If you continue digging, you may awaken the entire Discogs database."
Even the current inventory numbers are bordering on obscene. Thousands of products. Thousands. Somewhere, a minimalist is feeling physically ill.
And then there's the packaging and shipping reputation. The store itself emphasizes careful shipping, while recent customer feedback and community comments praise the attention to the little extras and the overall experience. This is dangerous because it encourages repeat purchases.
You start with:
"I'll just buy one record."
Then somehow you're standing in your kitchen three days later explaining to your spouse, your bank account, and possibly a priest why seven limited editions were essential for your emotional survival.
The answer, of course, is simple:
Skeletunes had them.
Also, I subjected this store to the most rigorous review panel available: my three cats.

Loki: Sat on the shipping box.
Verdict: Excellent structural integrity.
Oberon: Attempted to eat the packing material.
Verdict: Clearly premium.
Falstaff: Looked directly at me, knocked a record sleeve off the table, and walked away.
Verdict: Unanimous approval.
That is a perfect score.
Three cats. No appeals. No recount. Catocracy has spoken.
So yes, this is my second review, and I'm forced to report that Skeletunes Records remains offensively excellent. The selection is dangerous, the enthusiasm is genuine, the operation is run by actual music people, and the whole thing has the troubling effect of making you believe there may still be hope for humanity.
I tried to find something to complain about.
I really did.
I squinted.
I frowned.
I made the traditional reviewing noises.
Nothing.
The only serious issue I discovered is that visiting Skeletunes Records may result in owning more records than shelving.
Frankly, that's on you.

Everything arrived in great condition. All vinyl albums( covers-I haven't opened any yet to see actual vinyl condition. ) are in nice clean, flat condition( I didn't notice any creases or rounded corners. ). All 10 records are nice, new and clean. Thank you.
Other than my local record shop, these are the only guys that I buy vinyl from. Great selection, great prices, excellent communication, safe and secure shipping. Case closed!
