Originally released in 1984 on Reflex Records, Give Thanks is the debut full-length from Chicago hardcore legends Articles of Faith — produced by Bob Mould of Hüsker Dü at Pierce Arrow Recorders in Evanston, IL. A hardcore record as political as it is poetic, the album fuses the raw intensity of the era with a musical sophistication and lyrical introspection that pointed toward what would later become known as post-hardcore. Long out of press and unavailable for decades, this Futurismo reissue has been newly remastered directly from the original tapes.
