Deftones - Around the Fur

Deftones' second studio album, originally released on October 28, 1997 on Maverick Records — produced by Terry Date and recorded at studios in Sacramento and Seattle. A massive leap forward from their debut, Around the Fur introduced the textural, atmospheric guitar work and dynamic quiet/loud contrasts that would define White Pony and cement the band's place in alternative metal history. Features "My Own Summer (Shove It)," "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)," and the explosive album closer "MX" featuring Max Cavalera of Sepultura. Reissued on vinyl.
