The debut album from Jello Biafra & the Guantanamo School of Medicine, released in 2009 on Alternative Tentacles — Biafra's first full-length band project since the Dead Kennedys' breakup in 1986. Produced by Biafra and engineered by hip-hop producer Virus, the album features the Guantanamo School lineup of Ralph Spight (Victims Family), Andrew Weiss (Rollins Band), Kimo Ball, and Ted Falconi (Flipper) — a supergroup of underground veterans delivering eleven tracks of raw, politically ferocious punk rock. The title is a pointed jab at Obama-era optimism from one of punk's most uncompromising voices.
