Korn's third studio album, originally released on August 18, 1998 on Immortal/Epic Records — produced by Steve Thompson and Toby Wright at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood. The album that launched nu metal into mainstream ubiquity, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 and going five-times platinum in the US. Features "Freak on a Leash" (whose music video won the Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video), "Got the Life," and "All in the Family," with guest appearances from Ice Cube, Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit, and Tre Hardson of The Pharcyde.
