Yes, it’s true—the 16-year wait for new Rufio music is finally over!

From The Outside is the brand-new EP from the beloved Southern California pop-punk band Rufio—Scott Sellers (lead vocals/guitar), Clark Domae (guitar/vocals) and Taylor Albaugh (bass/vocals). The record features Dylan Roy (Dragged Under, ONI, Skylimit) on drums, it was mixed by JUNO-winning producer Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, Bayside, Neck Deep), and it was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Jason Livermore (Rise Against, NOFX, Hot Water Music, Descendents).

Featuring the single “Maps”, alongside four other brand-new songs, From The Outside showcases a Rufio that is older, wiser, and more (brutally) honest. While it sounds both new and heavier in the best kind of ways, From The Outside also proves that Rufio is always capable of infusing pop-punk with technical skate punk to make something truly magical.

Out digitally August 7, 2026, Rufio’s From The Outside is being jointly released by Double Helix Records, and its sister label, Double Felix Records.

This first—and very likely only—vinyl pressing of Rufio’s record is available from Double Helix Records and Double Felix Records in two limited-edition, hand-numbered etched variants, available worldwide exclusively via Skeletunes Records:

Both variants will be pressed by the vinyl artisans at Gotta Groove Records in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, home of the Wax Mage.
