Sweet Teeth - The Void That Eats The Heart CD

My buddy Fredrik (owner of De:Nihil Records in Sweden, and Millencolin's drummer) texted me one day to see if I was interested in working with him to bring Sweet Teeth's sophomore album to North America. He sent me the tracks, and I was hooked right away! De:Nihil has partnered with Engineer Records (UK), and Scene Police Records (Germany) to cover Europe, and I asked my friend Jeff at Double Helix Records here in the States to join me to make this a killer worldwide release!

If you're into Hüsker Dü, Social Distortion, Off With Their Heads, Hot Water Music, Foo Fighters, and Mercy Music, you're going to love The Void That Eats The Heart, the newest album by our new friends from across the pond, Sweet Teeth.

Cheers,

----------

Sweet Teeth hail from the industrial backwater of Finspång, Sweden, carrying the torch for a sound they lovingly, albeit a bit tongue in cheek, call "Hüskerrock." With roots firmly planted in the melodic fury of Hüsker Dü, the band blends ragged punk energy, fuzzy power pop, and heart-on-sleeve emotion into something both nostalgic and immediate. Sweet Teeth sharpened their sound on their new album, "The Void That Eats The Heart," a record packed with soaring guitars, buzzing bass, explosive drumming, and vocals that swing between desperation and beauty. Nothing about it feels accidental. Sweet Teeth is made up of seasoned lifers from Sweden's punk and hardcore underground: Disfear, Deadbeats, Tormented and Studio Underjord. Together, they channel decades of experience into songs that hit fast, loud, and straight in the heart.
