Ween - 12 Golden Country Greats (Indie Exclusive Deluxe Edition) [Preorder]

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of their beloved country detour, Ween have unveiled a massive deluxe edition of 12 Golden Country Greats. Originally released in 1996 on Elektra Records and recorded at Bradley's Barn near Nashville with legendary session musicians the Shit Creek Boys — including The Jordanaires, who had previously backed Elvis Presley — the album stands as one of the most audacious and committed left-field genre experiments in alternative rock history. This 3LP deluxe edition adds 26 previously unreleased four-track demos and outtakes from the Nashville sessions, including the long-mythologized "I've Got No Darkside" and Jerry Garcia tribute "So Long Jerry," plus their cover of the Rolling Stones' "Fool to Cry" and the preview single "Bad Day in Brownsville." 36 tracks total across three LPs pressed on black vinyl.
