Blazing out of high school obscurity to the top of the charts, The Arctic Monkeys built a huge internet following before releasing their first full-length album in 2006. "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I Am Not" was a huge hit, topping the charts in the U.K. and climbing up to #24 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. It won the Mercury Music Prize and had hits with "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" and "When the Sun Goes Down."
